IPWEA
The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia (IPWEA) is a professional organisation providing member services and advocacy for those involved in and delivering public works and engineering services to the community.

IPWEA Victoria
IPWEA (Vic) was a separate entity until it joined with some other professional groups in Victoria to form Local government Professionals (LGPro) following the amalgamation of local governments by the Kennett State Government. In March 2007, a Special General Meeting set a new direction formalising the re-establishment of IPWEA as an independent entity.

LG Pro
LGPro is the peak body for Local Government professionals in Victoria. LGPro develop and deliver high quality professional development activities and services, facilitate positive communication between the sector and State and Federal Government, and represent the views of officers where this expert advice is required in the consultation process on legislation and policy and program development.
