2014 Overseas Study Tour Scholarships
MEF Victoria awarded five scholarships to engineers working in Victorian municipalities to participate in an overseas study tour in 2014.
Ebony Perrin was the recipient of the scholarship jointly funded by the Foundation and the City of Boroondara as a tribute to the late David Powell, Trustee of the Foundation and Director of Environment and Infrastructure, City of Boroondara. This scholarship was available to a young engineer applicant from a rural council within Victoria.
The scholarships provided for the selected recipients to attend the APWA Congress in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from 17th to 20th August 2014 followed by a further two weeks study on an itinerary prepared by the study tour group that included USA, Canada and UK. The study tour reports by the successful recipients on their topic of study are available as shown against their names.

2013 Overseas Study Tour Scholarships
The Foundation selected five members to participate in an overseas study tour in 2013. The awardees travelled to USA to attend the APWA Congress in Chicago, IL, from 25th to 28th August which was followed by a further two weeks study on an itinerary prepared by the study tour group that included USA, Canada and UK.

2013 IPWEA International Public Works Conference
The Foundation provided three scholarship to engineers from rural councils in Victoria to attend the IPWEA International Public Works Conference in Darwin from 11th to 16th August 2013. Details of the scholarship recipients and their feedback from the conference follows:

20th (2013) National Works & Engineering Conference
Two scholarships were provided by the Foundation to cover registration for the National Works & Engineering Conference in Bendigo on 26th and 27th September 2013. Successful recipients were:

2012 Overseas Study Tour Scholarships
Three participants were selected to undertake an overseas study tour to Europe to attend the IFME World Congress in Helsinki, Finland in June 2012 and then to undertake further research on a series of topics at other cities in Europe over a two week period.
